Sister Wives star Kody Brown has no redeemable qualities for many fans today after what he did to his children in a scene from the TLC show. Many of his kids remain estranged from him. But some fans say it looks like he made an effort to keep it that way for good. Still, while acting for his own agenda, he likely put a damper on sibling relationships for his daughter, Aurora Brown.
Sister Wives: Kody Brown Does the Unthinkable
If any fan out there thought Kody Brown’s kids exaggerated when they felt their father played favorites, they probably don’t anymore. Christine Brown made a point of sharing how hurt her children were when they saw that their father had favorite kids.
Well, fans say the Sister Wives patriarch did everything in his power to prove them right. He took Aurora Brown to get her ears pierced. Normally this would be something nice. But fans think he used this event to get back at his other kids. How he went about this enraged many Sister Wives fans.
Fans say Kody Goes Too Far for Retaliation
If Robyn Brown suddenly sees her daughter as an outcast from her Sister Wives siblings, it’s likely her husband’s fault, viewers say. Instead of Kody acting like a grown man, he joined the ranks of a teen. Fans think he reverted to the antics of a 12-year-old.
Kody Brown fumes over what he sees as a lack of respect from his kids. So, it looks like he went about punishing them. He seemed to use a father-daughter outing with Aurora as a hidden agenda. Did he throw it in their faces?
Recently on the Sister Wives show, Robyn sat at home in tears. Fans say she acted completely oblivious to where the problem lies as she and her kids feel like outcasts. So, maybe she should watch the clip of Kody taking her daughter to get her ears pierced. That would spell it out for her, suggest the viewers.
Sister Wives: Kody Gets Vicious
Kody seemed chock-full of underhanded retaliation in the first few episodes of Sister Wives Season 18. He became passive-aggressive with Christine Brown at lunch. He said he’s trying to not get so mad that he’d be driven to tell the kids bad things about her. That was a warning as far as Sister Wives fans are concerned.
Then he moved on to very childish antics. They could potentially become dangerous to the relationships among his children. When he took Aurora Brown to get her ears pierced, it was captured on camera.
Kody talks about how this is the first daughter he ever did this with. Then he moves on to how he doesn’t even remember when his other daughters pierced their ears.
But somehow Aurora is special. Not only did he go with her, but it’s a memory he’ll always cherish. Or at least this is how he conveyed it to the camera. Fans found these scenes “creepy” and “disturbing.” They think he’s just too excited about her pierced ears.
Kody Dubs This a Cherished Memory
Kody Brown gushed about how special this event was, and how he will remember it until his dying day. He praised Aurora to high heaven as a daughter who respects him.
The Sister Wives father acted so touched that she refrained from getting her ears pierced out of respect for him. Because of their religion, he was originally against pierced ears. Kody Brown’s thought on that was if God wanted you to have holes in your ears you would have been born with them.
But he not only changed his mind, he made this a father-daughter special event. Again, one that he will remember forever, he said. Christine Brown said her girls all waited until they were 18 before getting their ears done, as it was something forbidden by Kody Brown.
Sister Wives: Awful Hidden Agenda
Fans find it hard to believe this is the same father. The one who didn’t go with Ysabel Brown when she had her spine surgery. Kody Brown made a big deal out of Aurora’s beauty procedure. Yet, fans call out that he didn’t do his proud daddy routine when Ysabel faced her surgery. Not to mention not being around for her painful recuperation period.
So, it was easy to see in those scenes with Aurora that Kody attempted to use her as an example to his other kids. It looks as if he’s throwing this in his other kids’ faces. He lets them know that he’s hanging out with a good daughter who respects him. But at the same time, holding her above the rest of the kids set this young girl up to be an outcast among her siblings.
But it seems as if all he cared about was retaliating against his offspring who he doesn’t feel give him respect. From where the Sister Wives fans sit today, many see this as awful. And they say it’s a selfish thing for him to do. Many viewers see Kody Brown as basically using this child to get back at the rest of his kids.
So, if Aurora Brown finds herself snubbed by her Sister Wives half-brothers and half-sisters, this could be why. At least Robyn has her answer as to why. She just needs to watch the clip of Kody talking about the ear-piercing event on the TLC show.
