WOACB reported months ago that Dayton was with Kody, his brothers and friends in Las Vegas riding ATVs. Dayton was an inexperienced rider and not properly supervised when he drove into a barbed wire fence.

Mykelti confirmed that Dayton’s face was ripped off his eye, and Hunter Brown had to fold his skin back onto his face. She seemed shocked people didn’t know Dayton was with Kody.

Kody was the responsible parent and liable for the accident. Despite Kody’s liability, he refused to cover Dayton’s medical expenses.

Robyn and her ex-husband ended up in a dispute over the bills. According to Preston Jessop’s niece, Robyn & Kody lied to him about the incident. When he tried to get details from his son, Robyn accused Preston of cornering and scaring Dayton.

Robyn and Kody then developed a plan to essentially blackmail Preston to sign over his parental rights to Kody. Kody would only then agree to pay the medical bills for Dayton.

On the show Kody said Christine blames him for what happened to Truely:

During this same time, Truely nearly died from acute kidney failure. Christine did not have health insurance for her. On Instagram, Christine revealed that she owed more than $250,000 in medical bills (still) and that Kody never gave her a dime. Kody was also watching Truely when she got sick. Instead of ensuring his daughter was drinking and urinating, he forced Aspyn to care for Truely.

Truely became so dehydrated from the lack of medical care that she fell into acute kidney failure. Kody never helped Christine cover the medical bills.

Kody covered Dayton’s hospital bill and surgeries to repair his face after the accident and also got Robyn’s ex to hand over custody.

All the while, Robyn implied Preston caused the ATV accident on the show and painted him as an abuser of her and the kids. The narrative on the show put Preston in a corner and Kody & Robyn got what they wanted.

Kody Brown’s negligence has led to serious injuries and near death of his kids while under insuring his children.
