KODY, WHO? Sister Wives’ Meri Brown reveals she’s dating again after split from Kody as friends set her up with new men
MERI Brown’s friend has revealed that the star is back in the dating game.
The Sister Wives star posted a new video on Instagram with her friend Jenn Sullivan, who dropped the exciting news.
In the post, Meri, 52, and Jenn hosted their weekly Fridays with Friends, in which they go live and chat about plenty of juicy topics.
The duo sat close and joked around during the video, prompting one fan to comment: “These two are definitely dating.”
Jenn was quick to respond and shut down the idea, but did add that Meri was back in the dating game and looking for someone new.
Jenn wrote: “I’m dating my husband but that’s it. He’s trying to set Meri up then we shall double date!”
From 1990-2014, Meri was one of Kody Brown’s four wives.
However, at the end of last year, Meri revealed that she’d split from Kody after 32 years of marriage. Kody divorced Meri to marry his supposedly favorite sister wife Robyn and adopt her three children.
Kody and Meri initially remained spiritually married, but on January 10, 2023, Meri took to Instagram and shared: “In light of a recent unapproved press release, we feel compelled to share our own truth, in our own way, and in our own timing.
“After more than a decade of working on our relationship in our own unique ways, we have made the decision to permanently terminate our marriage relationship.”
When asked if she would be open to reconciliation, Meri admitted: “I would. I definitely would. But I don’t think that he’s interested.”
HARSH WORDS
Meri previously slammed Kody for appearing to treat the ending of their relationship differently than his marriage with Christine.
Meri said: “It just doesn’t make sense to me that he would be so frustrated with Christine and be like, ‘She just made this decision. We didn’t consult, we didn’t talk, she just made the decision.’
“And then he says: ‘No, I don’t consider myself married to Meri.’ Like, he just made the decision. I’ve never heard him say that to me.”
More recently, on October 28, TLC posted a new preview for the upcoming episode of Sister Wives on X, formerly known as Twitter.
In the preview, Meri said: “He made some reference to faking relationships or something like that.
“And I was like, ‘What do you mean faking?'”
She then revealed that Kody pointed to her and then back at himself, insinuating that their relationship was fake.
FOUND FAMILY
Despite previously admitting that she’d be open to reconciling with Kody, Meri recently suggested that she was happy away from her old family.
Last month on the show, she said: “I don’t allow myself to just let loose and have a lot of fun because I don’t have that trust, you know, Jenn and I have that trust with each other … I don’t have that with other members of my family.”
In another clip, Meri and Jenn discussed their friendship – and the relationship Meri has with Jenn’s husband.
The reality television star revealed that Jenn’s husband is “awesome, extremely helpful, and supportive.”
Meri gushed: “He does things for me… washes my car and he does these little things that a guy normally would do for his wife and he does it for his wife, and by default he does it for her best friend. It’s kinda cool. Don’t go weird!”
