The Hollywood and daytime communities are still hurting from the tragic death of General Hospital star Johnny Wactor (ex-Brando) on May 25 in downtown Los Angeles. The actor was shot and killed when he interrupted three men who were attempting to steal the catalytic converter from his car. With no arrests yet made in the senseless crime, fans and friends of Wactor’s will be coming together for a rally and march to be held on Wednesday, June 12, at 10 a.m. “I would love to see you there,” Bonnie Burroughs (ex-Gladys) said as she shared the details of the event on Instagram.

The organizers are asking everyone to attend the rally as they meet on the corner of Hope and Pico in downtown L.A. and march from the location of Wactor’s murder to L.A. City Hall. They hope that their actions will bring justice for Wactor as well as raise awareness that residents deserve a safer city to live in.

For those who do not live in the L.A. area and cannot attend the rally in person but still want to show their support for the cause, there are other options. First, there is Justice for Johnny Wactor merchandise for sale at Spartins By Design including shirts, flags, and pins. Secondly, there is a GoFundMe set up to help Wactor’s family with excess funds being donated to select charities in the actor’s name.

Wactor’s career took off when he joined the cast of GH in 2020 as Brando Corbin, and fans fell in love with his romance with Sasha Gilmore. Viewers were disappointed when the character was killed off in 2022, and are now absolutely heartbroken that Wactor’s life and career have been tragically cut short by this violent crime.
