General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease ‘Sprina’ shippers are outraged by a moment between Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Gio Cerullo (Giovanni Mazza) at the Metro Court Pool.

The scene reminds them of scenes between Trina and Spencer Cassadine (formerly Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and they think Gio is meant to replace Spencer in Trina’s heart!

General Hospital Spoilers: It Appears Trina Makes A New Friend-Emphasis On Friend!

From the short clip of Trina in the daily preview for the episode of June 6 it seemed Trina was making a new friend. Trina has a jarring experience according to spoilers, but this doesn’t necessarily mean she thinks he’s Spencer!

Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) who appears dressed as a lifeguard is shocked by a big splash in the pool-maybe Trina bumped into him and knocked him in the water!

From early photos released on social media and other spoilers, Gio starts a new job the same day; perhaps Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) gave him a job at the pool. But since Trina also asks if someone would be interested in something, maybe she knows Ava Jerome (Maura West) needs some help at the art gallery!

GH Spoilers: Perhaps Gio Gets A Job Helping At The Art Gallery?

More than likely, Gio and Trina are not getting acquainted and eloping the same day, so ‘Sprina’ fans needn’t fear, although Gio at the gallery might have them clutching their pearls!

One must remember Trina’s first experience with Spencer at the art gallery wasn’t exactly a Romeo and Juliet moment-she was sprayed with red paint from the sprinkler system!

With Ava attracting more danger and possibly becoming more dangerous herself, Trina having a guy friend around when she’s at work by herself might be safer. Not to mention he’d be better equipped for heavy lifting, when incoming art shipments come in and Trina has to hang huge paintings!

General Hospital Spoilers: What If-Now, This Would Be A Soapy Scenario!

On the other hand, what if the ‘Sprina’ shippers are guessing correctly and Gio is a love interest to help Trina move on? It’s doubtful, because she’s not anywhere near over Spencer, and the GH powers that be may want to take more time to find a perfect Spencer recast.

But say she does fall for Gio-something similar could happen as ‘Sante’ shippers fear for Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco).

‘Sante’ shippers fear Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) will come out of her coma and interrupt a Sante wedding. What if a not-so-dead Spencer showed up just in time to reclaim Trina before she and Gio got too serious?
