General Hospital Jonathan Jackson Back On GH, Lucky Spencer Comes Home TO PC!
General Hospital spoilers tease that fans were under the impression that Bryan Craig’s one day return as Morgan Corinthos was the big return that Executive Producer Frank Valentini teased on the red carpet during the Emmy Awards.
And while that is indeed happening, its not the return that Valentini had in mind. And now deadline.com reports that Jonathan Jackson will also be returning as Lucky. And unlike Morgan’s appearance, Lucky’s return looks to be long-term.
General Hospital Spoilers – Lucky Spencer is sorely missed in Port Charles
As long-time viewers know, Jackson originated the role of Lucky Spencer all the way back in 1993. Lucky was the son of General Hospital super-couple Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis).
He continued playing Lucky on and off all the way through 2011. He did come back briefly in 2015 as part of Luke’s exit storyline. In between Jackson’s stints as lucky, Jacob Young and Greg Vaughn also tackled the role.
But when Jackson left in 2011, he then joined the cast of Nashville as Avery. He played Avery for six season and has also appeared in several motion pictures as well. During his time on GH, Jackson was nominated for an Emmy 9 times of which he won 5 times.
GH Spoilers – Lucky Spencer is needed in Port Charles
During most of his tenure in Port Charles, Lucky was paired with Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst). With Elizabeth newly single after her break-up with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), this is the perfect time for Lucky’s return.
Laura could certainly use her son back as well. As her other two children are either in a coma or prison. Laura could certainly use her son in her corner especially as she deals with the fallout from her support of Heather Webber (Alley Mills). Look for Lucky to return later this summer for a long-term stay! Welcome home Lucky!
