General Hospital Comings And Goings: Mark Lawson To Return As Lulu’s Love Interest Dustin

General Hospital Spoilers: Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson) - Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan)It would seem that fans are set to see more of Mark Lawson as Dustin Philips on “General Hospital.” Lawson debuted his character as Lulu Falconeri’s (Emme Rylan) date on July 9.

It seems like the pair clicked. Fans, too, liked their chemistry and many of them were left wondering if they’d ever see Dustin again.

Good news! Soap Opera Digest revealed that Lawson will back on screen for more scenes next week. No one knows yet whether he’ll be bumped up to a regular role, but for now fans can delight in the fact that he’ll be back in Port Charles soon.

 

General Hospital Spoilers – Lawson Posted A Thank You On His Instagram

Lawson felt grateful for the overwhelming positive response to his character. In a personal video message, which he posted on Instagram, he took the time to thank his fans and viewers for all the support. He started his message with a good morning greeting.

“I just wanted to send out a little post of gratitude to everyone who tuned in, or has since watched GH yesterday, and posted comments and just spread the word that I got to be on yesterday,” he said.

“It was so much fun. I’ve had my eye on GH for a while, and was really glad that I got to do that. I just want to say everybody there is a consummate pro,” he continued.

General Hospital Spoilers – Lawson Had Contract Role On One Life To Live

“It’s a wonderful set to work on. It’s fast, but it’s fun, and it felt like a homecoming. So thank you very much, and all the love to everybody at GH,” he said.

When Dustin and Lulu met for the first time, Lulu’s guard was up, believing that he might be the criminal that she was trying to hunt. Lulu created an online dating profile to catch a thief who sets up dates with women using an online app.

However, when it’s time to meet, the culprit doesn’t show up. Instead, he robs his date’s home while they’re out expecting to meet him. This is not Lawson’s first foray into TV soaps. He’s been part of “One Life to Live” where he appeared on about 500 episodes. He also landed roles on other TV shows “Pitch” and “Cold Case.”
