After separating from Kody in January 2023, Janelle continued to stay in Flagstaff, Arizona, unlike the other wives who left to settle in Utah. Janelle has long dreamed of gardening and farming. And it seems she is finally making that dream a reality. According to reports, the savvy Sister Wives member has reportedly bought a 156.4-acre plot in Chocowinity Township in Beaufort County for $289,000 on April 1, 2024. Notably, Chocowinity is less than a 30-minute drive from Janelle’s daughter Maddie and her husband Caleb Brush’s house in Greenville.
While it is unclear if Janelle would build a home on the land, fans speculate it might be for her flower business, Taeda Farms, which will sell fresh-cut wildflowers. Moreover, the land is located near homes and a highway, perfect for a warehouse or storefront. At the moment, there are no buildings on the land. However, Janelle clarified that it was her eldest son, Gabe. The mother of six, however, emphasized, “But my children and grandchildren are the true loves of my life.” Janelle’s words were heartbreaking, especially after she lost her son, Garrison, earlier this year. Notably, it was Garrison who helped Janelle set up her RV.
